This real cool tunuc is handcrafted from Mangalagiri cotton, a fabric indigenous to the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The traditional process involves handloom weaving of warp interlaces into a crisp finish. Taking ahead the handloom heritage, we’ve handcrafted this sustainable top making the best use of leftover cotton generated by fabric manufacturers. 

Breathe easy in this breathable casual top – just what you need for Indian summers. Soft to touch, feel the real beauty of pure cotton. It is befitting for any informal event. Be it an evening outdoors with family or casual Fridays at work, this tunic top will keep you relaxed throughout. 

We try and avoid unnecessary wastage of fabric, and therefore our designs are exclusively handcrafted and created in limited sizes. Exclusivity is the keyword with handmade repurposed outfits- there are no exact replicas! So this is the only piece of this design that we made. So make it exclusively yours !

Upcycled Apparel Making Process:

Our Apparel Range is the piece de resistance of our entire Rimagined collection of products. We have dedicated much time and effort into our apparel creation process. Rimagined Apparel is created as Capsule Collections, containing a set number of items in particular sizes; no more, no less. The reason behind this is our entire apparel creation process is entirely different than that of mainstream fashion houses.

We procure our raw material first, which is textile scrap from boutiques and industries that do not meet their length requirements to process through their machines. Once we collect and assess the various pieces of cloth, we then create our designs based on our assessment. A lot of energy is poured into the conceptualization of our Apparel range. Working mainly with natural fabric such as cotton and linen, we ensure that our designs are as efficient as they are fashionable because we strive to maintain our low waste process. All of our designs follow a strict anti-fit concept, as much as the material allows, so entire range showcases the truly easy breezy, light feel of natural fabrics, as compared to synthetic counterparts.

The upcycled clothing pieces we create are often one of a kind, as there is a limited amount of material to be upcycled into say, a beautiful cotton dress design or colourful cotton tops and supple cotton stoles.
